Dec 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was time for CEO John Fuller, to visit his famous food chain Johnny Rockets, in the last episode of “Undercover Boss,” to find the experience quite enlightening. The show approached to him earlier this year, and it took no time for him to agree to the proposal.
John Fuller pretended to be a former gym owner Tom Carter, who visited the restaurant to find what is going on at his retro diners. However, it proved that despite owing a food chain, he has been blessed with quite negligible culinary skills. He literally had to struggle while flipping burgers and make tuna salad and the hamburgers. He was assisted by the head cook of the restaurant, who was not at all impressed with the way his ‘undercover’ boss prepared the burgers. After the episode he said that the employees with whom he worked in the show, are four of the finest people he has in the system and the best employees he has ever met. They are dedicated and passionate people, who make amazing brand ambassadors.
John Fuller said that for really long, he had been planning to do the same, with or without the help of the show. However, when he committed to the show he had to go out and learn more about the stores in order to execute his task properly. However, it seems that his featuring in the “Undercover Boss”, actually helped him in bringing about several positive changes to the food chain. In a press briefing this week, he said that there has been changes in uniforms, training, music, and product augmentation, which was a result of his presence in the show.
