Johnny Depp working with Disney on two new film projects

Los Angeles, July 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Johnny Depp is collaborating with Walt Disney on two projects, TheWrap has reported. According to details of the report, Depp’s Infinitum Nihil has teamed up with Walt Disney Studios for the projects. One of the project is titled “The Night Stalker” and the other is a story of Paul Revere.

The report stated that Depp is being urged to appear in the two projects by Disney. The two projects are currently in the early stages of production. MSNBC.com says Lee and Janet Batchler have been tasked to provide the script for the Revere project. The other project has however not been assigned, the report from MSNBC stated.

Depp is famous for his role in the highly successful franchise “Pirates of the Caribbean.” The last movie of the franchise has already grossed $1 billion and that places Depp in the fortune books of Disney who are the owners of the franchise.

In 2010, Depp appeared in Disney’s fairy-tale story “Alice in Wonderland” and the movie was hugely successful. He is currently involved in another Disney project titled “The Lone Ranger” which is expected in the cinemas in 2012.

The actor is also said to be in talks with Disney to be part of the fifth “Pirates” movie.
