Johnny Depp turns director

Johnny Depp has directed a music promo for “Babybird’. The British Band “Babybird’ best known for their hit track, “You’re Gorgeous’is the actor’s favourite band.
The buzz is that the actor was shooting the music promo in Hatfield House in Hertfordshire, 33 km north of London. The actor was sporting a beanie hat, heavy jacket and white-rimmed glasses for the promo.
Reportedly the video stars “Babybird’ lead singer Stephen Jones and “Snatch” actor Stephen Graham.
The 46-year-old “Pirates of the Caribbean’ star has always loved music and had admitted that he always wanted to sing a duet with Barry Manilow.
Depp also talked about his musical movie “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street’ and said: “I don’t think I would have attempted this kind of project with anyone but a director like Tim Burton. But if there’s a chance of doing a duet with Barry Manilow now, then I’m in.”
What next Depp? Directing a film, maybe.

Johnny Depp has already directed a feature length film called “The Brave” back in the mid late 70’s. It premiered at Cannes and he chose not to distribute it in the US after some snarky responses from American film critics.

Me again-
Just want to make clear that The Brave was made in the mid late 1990’s and not the 1970’s, when Depp would have been a teenager-

Ah, he’s so amazing! :) … and by the way, Johnny already has directed a film (which he also co-wrote the screenplay for, and acted in) - it’s called ‘The Brave’ it was released in 1996(/1997 depending in which country you live), and it is truly amazing, such a masterpiece.
