Nov 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The fairy tale of Snow White has entertained children around the world for ages, many movies have been made on the subject but movie buffs just can’t get enough of the fictional character. A new flick is likely to be added to the list of Snow White films, this time supposedly starring Johny Depp. The movie “Snow White And The Huntsman” is likely to feature Johny Depp as a huntsman, who allows Snow White to escape after being ordered to kill her in the woods. However, it appears that Johny Depp was not the only one under the consideration for the role.

As per a reputed source, an announcement was made last week that the role has been offered to Tom Hardy, while Angelina Jolie may star as the evil queen Ravenna in the film. The initial plan did not work out and within a few days it was announced that Charlize Theron will be playing the evil queen, as per reports. Though nothing is confirmed in a major way yet, sources say that given the fact Johny Depp is very busy filming the sequel to ‘Pirates of the Caribbean” it is not sure whether he would take up the new project. The same reason is being cited for Tom Hardy not starring in the particular role as he is busy shooting for the new batman movie, “The Dark Night Rises”.

Johny Depp is currently filming for his upcoming flick “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”, which is the fourth film in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series. Johny Depp made the character of Captain Jack Sparrow famous among all movie buffs, and all three movies did well at the box office.
