Johnny Depp to do a cameo in ‘Family Guy’
July 12th, 2012 - 7:52 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, July 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Johnny Depp is all set to make a cameo on the TV show ‘Family Guy’. He will portray the character of Edward Scissorhands on the show.
The news has been confirmed by the producers of the show. According to Entertainment Weekly, the producers of the show confirmed that the ace actor would do a voice over of the character Edward Scissorhands.
“When [Johnny] was in the booth, he said that he felt like he hadn’t done that voice since he did it in front of the camera. He was able to snap right back into Edward Scissorhands once we pulled up a clip from the movie. He was amazing - and demonstrated extraordinary patience with all the fawning women in our office who swarmed him,” according to Family Guy official Mark Hentemann.
The much loved TV show will come back for its 11th season on the 30th of September 2012 and with Johnny Depp at the helm it is sure going to be a delight to watch.
Other celebrities who have come onto the show include Robert Downey Jr, Kiefer Sutherland, Ricky Gervais, Neil Patrick Harris and Mick Jagger.
