Johnny Depp all set to star in a Snow White movie

Los Angeles, Nov 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Johnny Depp is set to star in an upcoming Snow White movie. The star has been offered the lead role in the movie “Snow White And The Huntsman”. The movie’s producer, Joe Roth reportedly gave the role to Depp after the pair worked on a previous movie: “Alice In Wonderland”
The movie’s script which was developed by Evan Daugherty was highly sought after. The script was highly contested for and Universal Studios finally managed to get the script for $1.5 million. Charlize Theron has been highly tipped to star as the evil queen, Ravenna in the movie.
The new movie is set for release in December 2011. It will zoom in on the Huntsman who spared the life of Snow White in the original story after being ordered by the wicked queen to kill her. The role will no doubt add to the busy schedule of Johnny Depp who is currently involved in three yet-to-be-released projects. Depp has starred in the movies “The Tourist”, “Rango and The Rum Diary” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” which the star is currently filming.
