John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Blake Lively to star in ‘Savages’
April 23rd, 2011 - 7:32 pm ICT by ANIWashington, April 23 (ANI): Actors John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Blake Lively are reportedly in negotiations to join the cast of Oliver Stone’s ‘Savages’, the drama based on Don Winslow’s bestselling novel.
The film focuses on the relationship between best friend Laguna pot growers Chon and Ben, who live a cozy life with their trippy galpal, O, reports Deadline.com.
Lively will play the role of O, Travolta will play Dennis, a burned out DEA agent, and Thurman will play O’s mom, Paqu.
Other cast members include Taylor Kitsch for the role of Chon, Aaron Johnson forBen, Salma Hayek playing Mexican cartel queen-pin Elena and Benicio Del Toro, who plays the vicious cartel enforcer Lado.
The film begins production in early July. (ANI)
