John Travolta organises aid jet for Haiti quake victims
January 18th, 2010 - 1:01 pm ICT by ANIWashington, January 18 (ANI): John Travolta has arranged for a plane in a bid to help victims struck by the massive earthquake that shook Haiti on January 12.
The Grease star, who follows the Church of Scientology, organised the mercy mission to provide supplies and medicines to the people hit by the 7.0-magnitude tremor.
“I have arranged for a plane to take down some volunteer ministers and some supplies and some medics,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
“I hope that inspires others as well. It’s needed,” the 55-year-old actor added. (ANI)
