Formerly known as ‘Uncle Jesse’ on the long running television series ‘Full House’, John Stamos will soon be joining the cast of Fox Television’s hit show, ‘Glee’. The television show’s executive producer, Brad Falchuck has confirmed the news to E!Online.

Stamos will be joining the show to play the role of a sexy dentist who is dating one of his patients, the germopobic Emma Pillsbury, guidance counselor at William McKinley High School. Most viewers will remember at the end of last season, Emma mentions that she has began to date her dentist…which set up the scene for Stamos to enter the ranks.

Of course, there will be a sing off, as Stamos’s character (name so far unknown) will ’sing battle’ with Will, whom it is believed will conflict with Stamos’s character. As most know, John Stamos can hold his own in any singing competition, and has previously sang with such names as ‘The Beach Boys’, and at Broadway Productions of ‘Cabaret’ and ‘Bye Bye Birdie’.
