Mar 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After a several very controversial comments made by John Mayer in Playboy it is no surprise that John Mayer is trying to play nice for a while. Although it is not likely that his words will end his career, they are definitely putting a huge dent in his popularity and reputation. Although Mayer seems to feel he has no reason t change the way he speaks, he does seem to be doing a few things lately to try and enhance his “niceness” ratio. It leaves one to wonder whether John really does care what we all think.

While John was onstage in a Pennsylvania show a few nights ago, eleven year old Austin was holding up a sign which read, “Can I please play ‘Belief’ with you?”. And to the shock of everyone who had recently began to see John as a real jerk, he let the little boy on stage! They played together, as the boy had asked, and then John looked down at him and said, “That’s my man!… That’s your guitar, that’s yours…”

Austin’s mom said that John Mayer had made her little boy’s dream come true. After John gave him the guitar, they had to have added security to escort them from the building, since everyone wanted a picture of Austin.
