Nov 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest buzz doing the rounds in the gossip mills is that of Giada De Laurentiis getting hooked up with John Mayer. Rumors started flying in the air after an eyewitness reported this matter to a well known magazine. According to the witness, both the celebrities were seen getting close to each other last month at two different hotels of New York City. The eyewitness claimed that the two looked like as if they were about to go home together.

After the rumors created quite a stir, a spokesperson of John Mayer them away saying that the rocker was no way involved with celebrity chef and host of the popular Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis. Meanwhile, the American-Italian beauty has dismissed the rumors saying that it makes no sense since she has met John Mayer only once during an award ceremony. She has said that what the media has done is nothing but a shameful deed in an attempt to hog limelight. Her representatives has told that this incident has shocked her and she is hurt at what the media has speculated. Giada De Laurentiis is married to fashion designer husband Todd Thompson and is the mother of a 2-year-old daughter.

On the other hand, it is not something new for singer John Mayer who has been previously linked to a number of other stars. Earlier he said to be dating Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson. The rocker has also rubbished the reports calling them as petty baseless rumors. His sources are claiming that what such a reputed magazine did by relying on an anonymous source brings nothing but sheer disgrace to the magazine.
