August 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Singer John Mayer has finally put all the rumors regarding Jennifer Aniston to rest and slammed The Huffington Post for publishing a fabricated story. Recently The Huffington Post set the rumor mills into overdrive by running a story about John Mayer and Aniston getting back together. Recently at the Hollywood Bowl Show Mayer said that he believes in second chances and Huffington Post took that seriously.

John Mayer referred to The Huffington Post as the “Internet death Star”, he also said that the website did not have reliable sources and were fabricating stories to keep the readers hooked. The story of Huffington Post said that a woman suspected to be Aniston was sitting in the wings at John’s Hollywood Bowl show. E! News reported that the singer was seen smiling and winking at someone in the audience during the show. John Mayer referred to the story as fabricated, cobbled up and altogether misleading and appeared irate.

Following John Mayer’s reaction, The Huffington Post updated their story on the web. It seems that John Mayer does not like anyone speculating about his personal life especially the part involving Jennifer Aniston. On the other hand, Jennifer Aniston was unavailable for comments on the issue.
