Washington, Oct 30 (ANI): American musician John Mayer says he loves the “vulgar” theme of his new album.
The ‘Gravity’ hitmaker admitted he was attracted by the ‘vulgar, violent’ theme of war when writing his new album ‘Battle Studies’, though he hadn’t intended it to be the concept of the album.
“I was loving the war theme, the battle theme. The militaristic, vulgar, violent side of a relationship on the down slope. The record starts out sort of like the sun is out, then it gets darker. And then the sun comes back out at the end,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Rolling Stone magazine.
“The album is the next step in the story of who I am,” he added. (ANI)
