Oct 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is John Lennon’s Birthday today. “Imagine” had he been alive, the late singer would have been turned 70 year old today. All the fans, from all over the world, are celebrating the day today with a blend of pomp and reverence for the singer.

Almost thirty years age, the singer was shot dead outside his Dakota home in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The building, has been decorated with flowers, lights and drapes, to commemorate the glorious days when the singer used to live in that building. The fans in Manhattan has gathered outside the building with candles and flowers, to offer him an ode. To them, the singer might have passed away, but he is still alive in their heart through his music.

Steve McCardell took the opportunity of John Lennon’s birthday to release a new Global Anthem, “We are the people of the world”, that celebrates human brotherhood, globalization and global charity for certain noble causes. The ideal of this anthem promotes the people of the world, global unity and peace. The first Para of the Anthem says: “We are the people of the world, Sharing the planet as our home. We’ll work and play and give, To help our fellows live, For we are the people of the world.”

His 70th birthday will also welcome the release of his last and unfinished album, which he created with his second wife Yoko Ono. “Double Fantasy Stripped Down,” will be released soon, that would tell the world about his mid age stories, as a husband and as a dad. The songs in this album are not in their original version. Most of them have underwent a remix, that would synchronize with the new age taste and demands.
