John Leguizamo gets beaten up by Katherine Heigl

September 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star, Katherine Heigl, has a lot going on in her upcoming movie One for the Money. Until now Heigl has only played romantic roles. Her co-star, John Leguizamo, plays the role of a boxing manager in the upcoming movie and heigl stars as a bounty hunter. Commenting about Heigl’s role, Leguizamo said, “She beats up some other dude. She beats up her love. She beats everybody up.”
During the interview, John also said that he did not hate being beaten up by heigl, on the contrary he liked it! The funnyman has just wrapped up shooting for the movie One for the Money in Pittsburgh last month and now he is about to commence shooting for his autobiographical film Fugly.
John confessed during the interview that he was not a beautiful child and while growing up he got teased a lot by his peers. Leguizamo also said that he was brought up in Jackson Heights, New York, and kids used to tease him a lot for his unattractive looks; this was the inspiration for his upcoming movie.
Leguizamo recently launched a new contest where participants can upload their former “Fugly’ pictures as well as their recent ones, people who have transformed the most will get a chance to act in the new movie.
