After a slip of the tongue on the television show “Live With Regis and Kelly” John Corbett is denying his own rumor; that he and Bo Derek will be wed “sometime in the near future”.

When John Corbett appeared on the show with Regis Philbin and Kelly Rippa, he shocked them both along with the audience by saying that he and Bo may be planning to marry sometime soon. The star from “Sex and The City 2″ was happily chatting about his love life with long time girlfriend Bo Derek, who was watching from the background.

When Kelly askedif the two of them had ever thought of “complicating” things with marriage he grinned and replied, “We were actually talking about that last night. We went to a party and we were talking about maybe doing it one day. First time we’ve talked about it in 8 years! Funny enough.”

He also went on to say that Bo had been “married to the great John Derek for 30 years. A lot of women, that’s high on their list - to be married. I’ve never been married. We’re not having kids. I think it’s important to do if you’re going to have kids.” He went on to add “Why not? Yeah, we’ll do that one day. For sure. In the not-too-distant future.”

But he later came back to deny that he was planning to marry Derek. He explained away his interview with Kelly by saying, I’ve done it now, haven’t I? I think Reege kind of put me on the spot there. He and Bo go back 30 years.”
