Los Angeles, Nov 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Joel Moore has filed for divorce; two years after he got married to Kinret Karen Ben Yishay Moore. The Avatar star reportedly stated “irreconcilable differences” as the basis for the court to grant the divorce request.

The two have been separated since June this year. They have no children together and a source told TMZ that the two have agreed to the divorce. The report said Joel filed for the divorce at the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday.

The two have not made any official comment on the story.

Joel and Karen got married on New Year’s Day in 2009. They were successful in keeping the privy eyes of the media out of their marriage until they started experiencing some difficulties earlier in the year. The couple eventually announced their separated in the summer and they have since stayed separated.

Joel is famous for playing the role of Norm Spellman in the hit movie Avatar. He also plays the role of Colin Fisher in Fox’s hit series Bones. On the giant screen, Joel was a star in the project “Grandma’s Boy.”

There has been no official comment on the divorce report which was first carried by TMZ.
