Los Angeles, May 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Joanna Garcia is engaged to the New York Yankee outfielder Nick Swisher. The revelation was individually made both by the representative of the “Privileged” actress Joanna Garcia and the outfielder himself. While the representative mentioned to a media source that Joanna Garcia and Nick Swisher who have been dating for around a year now have got engaged, the date of the engagement came from Nick Swisher who mentioned that the couple got engaged on May 19. Though the news of the engagement has been confirmed, nothing as of yet has been declared about the tentative date of marriage of the couple.

The couple has been dating for quite a long time now and has also made many public appearances together. Though the two were seen together at many occasions, the confession that the two were seeing each other came on September last year from Nick Swisher. During an interview to a popular media source, when the outfielder was asked about his relationship with Joanna Garcia, he went on to refer to Joanna as “she is my lady. Joanna is my lady”. In the same month Nick Swisher appeared in “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and praised Joanna Garcia as an “amazing” lady.

Joanna Garcia was previously engaged to Trace Ayala who was the business partner of Justin Timberlake. However, the former couple who got engaged in June 2008 called off their engagement later on. Some media sources also claimed that Joanna Garcia dated actor Robert Buckley of “One Tree Hill” though for a brief period. As of now it seems that the new couple is going great guns both in their professional and personal lives.
