Los Angeles, Jun 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Joan Rivers is being sued by her former manager. Her former manager is William ‘Billy’ Sammeth who alleges that he was responsible for reviving Joan Rivers’ ‘dormant’ career.

He took on the post as Joan Rivers’ manager in 2002, and worked hard on her comeback. He has sued Joan and the production company, which had produced the documentary ‘Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work’. He is upset with both of them, as he feels the documentary doesn’t portray him in a decent light. The documentary had implied that Williams had disappeared out of his own accord and was also ‘missing in action’.

Williams is understandably miffed because he claims that Joan Rivers had fired him, whereas in the documentary it is being alleged that he had simply disappeared. In the lawsuit he has also claimed that he never received the 10% cut that he was supposed to receive from Joan’s projects such as “Celebrity Apprentice” and “Apprentice” wins.

However the comedian, actress, and television personality Joan Rivers seems to be least perturbed with the lawsuit. She says that she is “confident that the judicial system will dispose of his lawsuit in the appropriate manner.”
