London, Apr 3 (ANI): Joan Collins paid a heart-warming tribute to late actor John Forsythe, her co-star from the 1980s television drama Dynasty, saying “he was one of the last of the true gentlemen of the acting profession.”

Forsythe died after a long battle with cancer. The actor, 92, who played the role of oil tycoon Blake Carrington in the hit series, died at his home in Santa Ynez, California, on Thursday after suffering a bout of pneumonia.

Collins played the extravagant ex-wife of Forsythe’s character, Blake Carrington, reports The Telegraph.

“He was one of the last of the true gentlemen of the acting profession,” Collins said in a statement. “I enjoyed our nine years of feuding, fussing and fighting as the Carringtons.”

“He died as he lived his life, with dignity and grace,” his daughter, Brooke Forsythe, said.

Forsythe also provided the voice of the unseen Charlie in the TV series Charlie’s Angels. (ANI)
