Los Angeles, Nov 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jennifer Lopez is in the news again, but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. She is trying hard to get back in the limelight and reclaim her ‘diva’ status after the birth of her twins. She wanted to end her self-imposed sabbatical. So she came out with a performance in the American Music Awards and what a disaster it was. She tried to execute a jumping stunt, but landed on her well-insured butt instead of her legs.
Jennifer Lopez came onto the stage, like she was a boxer headed to the ring for a big fight. She was dressed in a hooded outfit and threw a quick set of jabs as she bounded onto the stage. Soon J-Lo launched into her song Louboutins.
About a minute into the highly choreographed number Jennifer Lopez climbed on the backs of several dancers who formed a makeshift set of steps. From the top, Lopez jumped but when she landed on her feet, they slipped out from under her and she fell straight onto the stage. Lopez reacted quickly and jumped back up and finished the number.
However in the process, her microphone appeared to be off because there wasn’t any noticeable sound when she hit the stage back after the mishap.
