Washington , Nov 27(ANI): Author J K Rowling revealed that she does not mind other fans posting their own stories based on the world of Harry Potter online.
The Harry Potter creator will also be not taking legal action against American George Lippert, 37, who wrote a sequel to the boy wizard’s adventures on his website.
Rowlings spokesperson said that the author is instead thrilled by such great interest in her Harry Potter series.
“JK Rowling’s reaction is that she is very flattered by the fact there is such great interest in her Harry Potter series and that people take the time to write their own stories. Contactmusic quoted the spokesperson of the author as saying.
“Her concern would be to make sure that it remains a non-commercial activity to ensure fans are not exploited and it is not being published in the strict sense of traditional print publishing, source added. (ANI)
