Jimmy Sheirgill ‘denounces’ women!

We have an uncanny feeling that the “Mohabbatein’ star Jimmy Sheirgill has suddenly become a pucca devotee of Lord Hanuman! Or else, why should this eligible Bollywood bachelor develop cold feet (albeit temporarily) at the very mention about the “ideal woman’ in his life. Doesn’t Jimmy sound funny and even uncharacteristic of a Bollywood hero?
Recently, when we cornered Jimmy to know about his kind of woman, the actor put up a grumpy face saying, “I have stopped thinking about women. There are many other important things to do in life.” Our hero was equally dumb when we asked if the woman he would party with and the one he would take home to meet his family members would be the same. “I don’t know. I have already told you that this is not on my priority list.”
Jimmy is also averse to the idea of going on a blind date with anyone. He is also not sure (or pretends to be so) of what he would do if his “date’ spikes his drink at a party. “I really don’t know what I’ll do then,” he says. Neither does Jimmy want to get stranded with any woman on a “deserted’ island.
Sound too unromantic? Then wait for a while. Though he doesn’t want to open up about the “ideal woman’ in his life, Jimmy is very much aware of his likes and dislikes in a woman. When we asked Jimmy which Hollywood or Bollywood actress he would like his woman to resemble, he was quick to shoot back, “Who else, but Kareena Kapoor. She’s too hot!” And what would be the romantic song he would sing for his woman? “Aaj jaane ki zidd na karo,” pat came the reply.
The actor who makes an appearance in Ekalavya – the Royal Guard with the Big B, is also clear about what would be his priorities in marriage. “Compatibility, of course. No relationship can sustain without compatibility,” Jimmy observes.
Having said so much, Jimmy begins to open up a little and we seize the opportunity to quiz him further. What puts him on in a woman and what is it that turns him off? “I am turned on by a woman’s smile and any woman’s bad breath puts me off,” he confesses. Now, would he like to make the first move when he is in love? “Oh, I would like my woman to propose – just propose,” Jimmy says with a sly smile and signs off. - (SAMPURN)
