Jim Parsons wins best comedy actor Emmy
August 30th, 2010 - 8:30 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Los Angeles, Aug 30 (IANS) American actor Jim Parsons Sunday bagged an Emmy Award for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series for his work in “The Big Bang Theory” at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.
Parsons, 37, beat the likes of Alec Baldwin, Steve Carell, Tony Shalhoub, Larry David and Matthew Morrison who were pitted against each other for their roles in “The Office”, “30 Rock”, “Monk”, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Glee” respectively.
