Jan 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jim Cornelison who is the official national anthem singer for the Chicago Bears rendered such a superb performance last night that he recently received another big offer. The talented singer has been hired by the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks as a full-time singer. Those present at the Cleveland Browns Stadium, Chicago last night agreed that the singer had perhaps sang the most impressive national anthem last night.

Not many who saw Jim Cornelison would disagree that the singer is a store house of talent. Hence, the Chicago Blackhawks had no second thoughts when they decided to rope in Jim Cornelison to be the full-time singer for the team. When he sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” last night before the starting of the Chicago Bears vs Seattle Seahawks NFC game every one present at the venue had only one thought. All of them thought that there could have been no body who could have sung the national anthem better than him. It will definitely not be wrong if any body says that the singer’s rousing rendition of the “The Star-Spangled Banner” had done the magic for the Chicago Bears.

The Chicago Bears won the match last night defeating the Seattle Seahawks limiting them to a 24 while they themselves advanced to 35. Known for his tenor range Jim Cornelison has also shared the stage with biggies like Placido Domingo and Zubin Mehta. Jim Cornelison before coming to Chicago in 1995 had worked in various operas as a singer. He has also sung at various event functions for opera companies at various international locations including Bordeaux, London, Brussels, and San Francisco.
