Jessie J planning fundraiser for disabled
August 18th, 2011 - 2:35 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Aug 18 (IANS) British singer Jessie J has decided to help raise money for victims of debilitating leg injuries after breaking her foot earlier this year.
The singer fell during a gig rehearsal in London and broke her foot in two places. She is now now going through an intensive physiotherapy as she wants to be fit and fine before her stage-comeback in October this year.
After her painful experience, the 23-year-old has now pledged to help others with broken bones, reports dailystar.co.uk.
“I have so much respect for people young and old who have ever had surgery on bones more than once. We take walking running dancing for granted until we can’t. I am so ready to get better and raise money for people that won’t get better or won’t walk again. Life is precious. Live it and love it,” she posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
