Jessica Simpsons Blonde Ambition fails to impress Texas
December 24th, 2007 - 6:50 pm ICT by admin ( Leave a comment )Washington, Dec 24(ANI): Jessica Simpson ’s latest flick Blonde Ambition failed to impress the native audience, and made less than 400 dollars at the opening.
The film, also starring Luke Wilson, failed to leave an impact on the audience when it opened in eight Texas theatres on 21 December.
Since both Simpson and Wilson are Texas natives, the executives were hoping that the film would receive a great response from the audiences there, reports Contactmusic.
The website also reports that the film was saved by the straight-to-DVD tag from the film bosses at Nu Image and Millennium Films, who decided to give it a limited Christmas run.
The film is expected to release on DVD in January next year. (ANI)
