July 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jessica Simpson has found herself in the news again as the rumor mills are buzzing with the news of her being the next American Idol Judge. The voluptuous singer has reportedly met up with the producers of American Idol several times but there is yet to be an official announcement on it.

Considering the experience, career and appearance of Jessica Simpson, the experts believe that she will be a good choice for the position of the judge. The singer was recently spotted with her beau Eric Johnson and some friends for a night out at New York City. Onlookers said that there was a lot of public display of affection between the couple while they were out. Jessica Simpson is known for her hits that include ‘Come On Over’. She has also appeared in several films and was highlighted for her role in ‘Dukes Of Hazzard’. She faced criticism for showing off too much skin in the film and also being extremely provocative in the video for the song ‘These Boots Are Made For Walkin’. She had brushed aside the controversy saying that she was used to it.

Apart from Jessica Simpson, Chris Isaak and Justin Timberlake are the other two celebrities who have been associated with the American Idol judge’s spot recently. The spot has been left vacant by the celebrity judge Simon Cowell who left the show in the last season. An insider has revealed that the ‘American Idol’ executives like her and she fits the role well. No comments from Fox or ‘American Idol’ has been available yet.
