Jessica Simpson The Next American Idol Judge?

July 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The judges panel of the next American Idol season is one of the most hotly debated and speculated topics in the entertainment industry today. The latest to joint the contenders for the spot seems to be Jessica Simpson. The rumor mills are abuzz with the news that the American Idol producer has approached the representatives of the gorgeous ‘Newlyweds’ star.
An anonymous source close to Jessica Simpson has revealed that the star has already had a number of meetings with the American Idol creators. The representatives of Jessica Simpson have however declined to comment on the matter. Jessica Simpson is not the only star who is reportedly ready to replace Simon Cowell in the tenth season of American Idol. Elton John and Justin Timberlake have also been in the news for being judge prospects on the music reality show. There were also rumors that the producer Nigel Lythgoe might be returning to the judges table and he plans to bring about some major changes in the panel to boost the popularity of the show. The reports also suggest that one of the strongest contenders for the next American Idol judge is Latino star Jennifer Lopez. The fans of the show are waiting for the final result.
The position of the judge has been left vacant after Simon Cowell announced his retirement from the show at the end of season 8. Jessica Simpson is considered an ideal choice by many of the fans due to her starry looks and smooth voice. She has appeared in a number of films and is known for her sexy and bubbly screen image.
