They used to be a doting couple earlier and attended each others’ respective events. It still remains a mystery to some why Tony Romo decided to dump her unexpectedly after dating for nearly two years. That was when she stepped into her 29th birthday. For some reason, Jessica Simpson did not accuse him of anything. On the contrary, she said recently that she is still smitten by the cute butt of her ex-boyfriend. She did not say why they split up. Even after the break up she is still a fan of the team Dallas Cowboys.

When Jessica Simpson was in a relation with Tony Romo she was accused for the poor performance of Tony Romo. Several teammates of her ex-flame as well as the fans of the Dallas Cowboys specifically asked her not to be present at the games lest the player loses his concentration. However, at those times Tony Romo always provided her the support she needed. He also attended her shootings whenever he could.

There is a section of the media that has been rather unkind to Jessica Simpson. She has received flak for her weight that keeps changing with time. Her dress sense has also been severely criticized. She also got criticized by another ex-lover of her named John Mayer. She has chosen to maintain her dignity though and has not resorted to mudslinging. Tony Romo is now reportedly dating Candice Crawford.
