Los Angeles, May 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American actress, singer and television personality Jessica Simpson has reportedly developed an addiction for nicotine gum. The confession has come from the actress herself who said to media sources that though she had never smoked in her life, she had developed a liking for the gum and chews it every time.

Jessica Simpson revealed to media sources that she was introduced to the gum by one of her friends’ mother. She said that while there is no doubt that the lady thought it to be a regular piece of gum that she offered to Jessica Simpson, the latter instantly developed a strong liking for the gum. The actress expressed that for the first time when she chewed the gum “it was like a party in [her] mouth”. She said that since then she had been regularly chewing the gum adding that the gum provides her with energy that can be equaled to drinking of “three Red Bulls”.

However, Jessica Simpson’s addiction is different from that of other celebrities. While others are addicted to drugs, alcohol and tobacco, she is addicted to a product that was basically designed to help smokers quit the habit. Whether the habit of constantly chewing a Nicotine gum is bad for teeth or health either is not known. The actress as of yet has developed no visible problem from chewing the gum regularly. Although how long she would continue have healthy gums is doubted by many as has mentioned in the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” recently that though she uses floss and mouthwash every day she does not brush her teeth regularly but still manages to breathe fresh.
