Mar 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jessica Simpson appeared on the “Late Show With David Letterman” so that she could promote her new reality television show on VH1 called “The Price of Beauty.” Of course during the course of the interview with Letterman, the subject of Jessica’s two recent boyfriend woes came up. Although both Tony Romo and John Mayer made some serious misjudgments of character during and after the break ups, Jessica said that she admires both men.

During her visit to the “Late Show With David Letterman,” Wednesday night, the 29 year old Jessica Simpson told Letterman that she and Tony Romo are still, “very close friends.” She admitted the fact that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback showed very bad taste and poor timing when he broke up with her in July. When Letterman inevitably asked Jessica what had caused the break up, Simpson answered, “What went wrong? You’d have to ask him that. He broke up with me on my birthday.”

“Talk about a fumble,” Letterman quipped.

There are apparently no hard feelings between the two former love birds, however. Jessica went on to tell Letterman, “Tony is great, still a friend of mine. I’m still a fan. I still look at his cute butt in the outfit – uniform.”
