Jessica Simpson Got Engaged To Eric Johnson!

November 16, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Jessica Simpson flaunted her ruby engagement ring at a Kansas City’s department store while signing autographs and prompting a fashion label. The lady got engaged to a former NFL player Eric Johnson after dating for only seven months. So why is this sudden engagement even without a pre-nup that’s getting Simpson’s dad and friends worried?
Well, the reason may be Jessica simply loves to follow her heart instead of her head where love is concerned or is it just a way of getting back to ex-hubby Nick Lachey. Nick has been dating Vanessa Minnillo for a long time now and has recently announced their engagement.
But leaving Nick and Jessica aside, it would be noteworthy to know who this Eric Johnson, would-be Mr. Jessica Simpson, is. Eric, a Yale student in 2001 was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, but unfortunately in spite of having a promising career had to sit out in the seasons of 2003 and 2005 due to injuries. Next, in 2007 New Orleans Saints took him in a year’s contract but that ended in 2008. Once again, he was taken in only to be released five months later.
Now, the man is happy being with Jessica and as Ms. Simpson puts it being in an “easy” relationship. Also it’s a profitable thing to be in love with Jessica as her bank balance is reportedly $100 million. But whatever it is we wish the couple all happiness though the wedding date has not been announced yet.
