Jessica Simpson engaged to Eric Johnson

“Yes, I am excited to confirm that they are engaged,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her representative as saying.
The 30-year-old star - who was previously married to Nick Lachey for three years until they split in 2005 - showed off her diamond engagement ring during a photocall in Kansas while promoting her Jessica Simpson Collection fashion line.
The “Come On Over” hitmaker began dating Eric in May, three months after the American football player filed for divorce from stylist Keri Johnson.
News of Jessica’s engagement comes just weeks after her ex-husband Nick announced he is set to marry his current partner, Vanessa Minnillo.
