Jessica Simpson denies rumors of being X-Factor judge

The star took to Twitter and cleared the air concerning the rumor.
The singer tweeted “Just to clear up a rumor… I am NOT going to judge X Factor!!! I don’t even know where that info came from.”
Rumors have been making the rounds on the Internet that Jessica is in talks to become a judge in the American version of X Factor. The report claimed that Jessica was in talks with FOX and the show’s producers to finalize the deal that would see her on the show’s panel of judges. As it has now turned out, the rumor was not only false but had no merit as well.
Several top artists are linked with a judging role on the show with Cheryl Cole expected to exit the show’s panel of judges after just one season of being there.
X Factor was highly successful in its first season. The show will make its first season in the United States this fall. The force behind the show is former American Idol judge, Simon Cowell. The show is exclusive to FOX.
