Los Angeles, Aug 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jessica Alba has revealed that she wouldn’t push her children into acting. The Spy Kids 4 star says she would want her children to make a decision about their career when they are old enough.

Alba explained that she is not fun of seeing children act alongside grownups. She currently has two children – Honor and Haven. Alba is a former child star appearing on the screen when she was just 12 years old.

She was quoted in a report by Google’s Press Association as saying that, “I just don’t see the need to put a child in a situation where they’re working with adults or being asked to work. I think they should just be kids. I love being in the arts so when they’re finished with college, and they want to do that - totally. I think the more life experience you have, the better you are at whatever it is you want to do.”

Alba admitted that being a mother influenced her decision to play in family roles. She revealed during the interview that she wouldn’t have considered playing in such movies but being a parent has changed that.

“Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World” is currently being shown in the various cinemas in North America and around the world.
