July 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jesse James broke down in court on Wednesday as he spoke about the problems he faced in his childhood. The ‘Monster Garage’ host choked up in court as he spoke about the childhood abuse he faced from his father and also the alcoholism that started at the age of 14. He was present at the Orange County court on Wednesday and even spoke on the stands as a part of the ongoing custody battle between him and his ex-wife Janine Lindemulder over their 6-year-old daughter Sunny.

The disgraced ex-husband of Sandra Bullock explained that he had hit rock bottom over the last few months and also hinted at his time in rehab recently. He also spoke at length about his battle with alcoholism that he said lasted till the age of 30. He called it a band-aid to cover the pain that he felt as a child due to the abuse by his father. In court, Jesse James also said that his daughter Sunny was finding it hard to sleep because of the ongoing battle between him and Janine Lindemulder. He added that it was the contact with her mother scared Sunny to sleep in her own room alone.

Jesse James is also fighting for the right to take Sunny to Texas where he can move closer to Sandra Bullock and their adopted son Louis. The motorcycle entrepreneur admitted that the recent developments have taken a bad toll on him. Jesse James hogged the limelight for all the wrong reasons in the last few months due to his messy split with Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock.
