Jersey Shore’s shooting gets delayed in Italy
May 9th, 2011 - 7:46 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattVenice, May 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The filming of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” in Itay hit a snag when the show’s permit was revoked in Florence. Reports say the show’s executives informed the cast of the show that they will be going to the city but had to change that when they received the latest information from the city officials.
The reports say the decision by the city to revoke the permit has not been explained. Filming the show in Florence was always going to be challenging because the city placed some restrictions on the show. The mayor of the city made it clear that no public drinking will be tolerated. Drinking and public nudity are part of Jersey Shore so some observers were trying to figure out how the show was going to survive without them.
The executives of the show are now figuring out what they will do next. The show has so far been a huge success and the producers wanted to take the show to the next level by filming outside of the United States. The latest development will no doubt be a big blow to the show’s executives.
The Daily Mail further reported that MTV is struggling to get some of the show’s casts to append their signature for a new deal as well.
