Jersey Shore stars - Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi & JWOWW sued

Los Angeles, July 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) MTV and Jersey Shore are in more legal trouble after a woman from Chicago filed a lawsuit against them.
According to the New York Post, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley have been sued for indulging in a fight involving the pair and a Chicago woman – Carrie Malec. The fight reportedly happened in May at a club located in Miami, when Jersey Shore Season 2 was being filmed.
According to the lawsuit, Carrie Malec suffered physical and emotional pain as a result of the fight and she’s now seeking $75,000 in damages. Viacom and MTV were also named as defendants and the lawsuit claims that Malec would suffer further pain, if the episode with the fight is shown on TV by the network.
The fight was captioned in the Jersey Shore Season 2 trailer, which was shown on TV this week and the lawsuit was filed immediately after the trailer was premiered. “If the episode is allowed to air, (Malec) will be thrust into the public spotlight without her consent after being beaten and humiliated by (the defendants). The airing of the episode would cause increased emotional distress” according to the lawsuit. MTV refused to comment on the issue at all.
