Jan 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) King of pop Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine Jackson has reportedly thrashed the Federal Bureau of Investigation for taking an unduly long period of time to release the files on his brother. According to certain reports, the brother of the musical legend has expressed his displeasure about the fact that FBI took so long to release the files relating to the child molestation cases against Michael Jackson.
Sources reveal that the singer did not have very kind words to say about the Federal Bureau of Investigation and questioned why the agency did not release the files while the King of Pop was still alive. The FBI files related to the child molestation cases against the iconic pop singer were opened late last month and it showed that the two cases that the King of pop was charged with took place in 1993 and in 2004. It came to light that two child molestation cases were under investigation involving Michael Jackson but supposedly the legendary musician never faced trial due to the cases.
Meanwhile, reportedly valid documents claim that the siblings of Michael Jackson including Janet Jackson and Jermaine Jackson are probable creditors in the estate case of the legendary singer. At the same time, intrinsic details regarding the amount of money that the Jackson siblings owe from their deceased brother has not been available. However, Jermaine Jackson reportedly disagreed with the news the he is a possible creditor and has brushed away the entire story. While reacting to the news, the singer supposedly has slammed a celebrity news website for not stating the facts properly.

I have found the aftermath of Michael Jackson’s death very fascinating because of the loud outcry of fans and foes alike, screaming of his innocence or guilt. Given Jermaine Jackson’s constant appearance in the press when I read or watch the news, I am not surprised he is now commenting.
As a regulator, I admit I was fascinated by the files. Aside from showing how horrifyingly Michael Jackson was stalked, the files didn’t really say anything, one way or the other, about the molestation accusations. I would want to see the rest of the information that was withheld. What I do recall is that most of the investigating was done by the police department.
Because of my job as a regulator, I am too aware of attorneys’ manipulation of documention access, which can make the innocent guilty and the guilty innocent. Therefore, before I can be swayed one way or the other, I would have to see all documents, which includes documents I have to seek and gather for myself when my regulator’s eye tells me something is missing. Until then, I remain neutral.
None of us will ever really know what happened because we weren’t there. So, none of us are qualified to attest to his innocence or guilt. But the questions I want to ask are also directed at Jermaine Jackson himself, at the risk of being flamed. Why do people need to vehemently argue Michael Jackson is innocent or guilty? What is at stake for you? What does it say about you if you need him to be innocent or guilty? What does it say about that which celebrities represent to you? Since he did produce music that permanently impacted the industry, why not just concentrate on that? And finally, if this had happened to somebody who was not Michael Jackson, what would your reaction have been?
This is just food for thought.
