Jeremy Renner would love to take over Mission Impossible

September 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Jeremy Renner is getting ready to join Tom Cruise to shoot for the fourth installment of the “Mission Impossible’ movie franchisee with Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise. Some of the industry insiders have also suggested that eventually Jeremy might step into Cruise’s shoes and replace him for the role of Superspy “Ethan Hunt’.
When asked about his thoughts on playing “Ethan Hunt I’ the future “Mission: Impossible’ movies. Jeremy said he is excited about the very idea. The actor further commented that although the idea sounded fantastic, he cannot say anything about it because it is too far away in the future. The actor chose to say that he is hopeful that someday the opportunity to play “Ethan Hunt’ will come his way.
Right now, Renner is at the Toronto Film Festival where he is promoting his new movie “The Town’ which stars other prominent actors like Jon Hamm, Ben Affleck etc.
Speaking about his “Mission: Impossible’ character, Renner said that he will be one of the good guys. The actor said that he will act as a fellow operative of “Ethan Hunt’ and he will be part of the spy team. The actor said that working with Tom Cruise at the Mission Impossible set is like a 14-year-old’s dream come true.
