Melbourne, Aug 27 (ANI): ‘Hurt Locker’ star Jeremy Renner is set to co-star with actor Tom Cruise in the fourth instalment of the ‘Mission: Impossible’ movie franchise.
According to movie industry site Deadline, Paramount Pictures announced the casting decision after they struggled to find the right person to star opposite Cruise, 48, the Courier Mail reported.
Renner, 39, will play a character that some have speculated could evolve into the leading role later in the series.
Paramount production chief Adam Goodman said Renner “has a Daniel Craig quality” that he was looking for in an actor. (ANI)
