While Taylor Swift, Jake Gyllenhaal’s girlfriend for two months, is probably at home penning down yet another break-up ballad, it seems to be like her ex-boyfriend has taken the break up in his stride and is moving on with a smile.

Although this 30-year-old was accompanied by his ex-girlfriend, even then he decided to pose for shutterbugs on the red carpet all alone. Jake Gyllenhaal, had previously dated actresses like Kirsten Dunst and Reese Witherspoon. He was in a relation with Jenny Lewis back in 2001. Even then, the two decided to remain friends since then. Last Sunday evening the appearance of Jenny Lewis on the Red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards, along with Jake Gyllenhaal took a number of people by surprise. People had the notion that either Jake Gyllenhaal would bring any of his family members to the show, or he would come to the show alone. However, this move of his came as a shock to people present at the star-studded ceremony.

According to the reports of a very reliable news source, the actor’s brief relationship with Taylor Swift ended by means of a phone call last month, which left the 21-year-old singer completely shattered.
