Jennifer Nettles And Kristian Bush Wins Vocal Duo Of The Year Award At CMA

sugarcaneNov 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Wednesday night turned out to be yet another big one for the Sugarland duo, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush as they grabbed the Top Vocal Duo of the Year award at the 44th Annual CMA Awards. It is for the fourth time in a streak that the duo went on to win the category at the Country Music Awards. The annual CMA awards was hosted at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee amidst an enthusiastic crowd that cheered loud as the duo went to the stage to receive the award. Although many speculated that this time the Top Vocal Duo of the Year award will go to the Brooks and Dunn, it was the Sugarland that claimed the prestigious award. They were presented with the award by Joanna Garcia and NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.

On Wednesday night the ultra-popular Sugarland duo Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush made a dramatic entry to the stage to perform. The duo performed their latest hit “Stuck Like Glue” and Jennifer Nettles was seen wearing a tutu. After receiving the award, Kristian Bush thanked his father. The guitarist said, “You were right, play guitar”. According to media sources, Jennifer Nettles had said backstage that this year has been a great year for them creatively. She said, “We’re super-excited about the fans that we’re bringing into country music”.

On the part of Jennifer Nettles’ singing partner Kristian Bush, the overwhelmed guitarist said that it has always been interesting to see people love and appreciate country music. Before Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush went on stage to receive the best Vocal Duo of the year award, Miranda Lambert scored her third win. She was awarded with the Album of the Year Award.
