Hollywood, Apr 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt showcased another new hairdo, while she was shopping in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. She has bidden adieu to her bob style hair-do, for longer hair extension. Just last month she had split with her boyfriend Jamie Kennedy, and now she decided to celebrate her newfound ‘single status’ with a new hairdo.

About her new hairdo, she said that, “I needed to feel lighter! We just finished season five of [Ghost Whisperer], and I was just ready for a change.” She however refused to label it as a ‘post-breakup’ hairdo. She claimed that she had cut her hair prior to the breakup. But since she was shooting, so she had to maintain her normal hairstyle with add-ons, in order to have some continuity in the series. “I actually cut my hair before. It’s just that I had to have long hair on the show, so I’d already done the haircut and we were just clipping in some pieces to keep it going. I just happened to finish filming and unveiled the haircut around the same time as the unveiling of the other news so now it’s become my ‘breakup haircut.’”

She said that she was coping with her heartbreak pretty well. She was indulging in yoga and lots of ice cream to get over her split with her co-star Jamie Kennedy.
