June 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actress, Jennifer Love Hewitt broke up with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy, a couple of months ago, said that she is happy being single. Hewitt went out with Kennedy, her Ghost Whisper co-star, for about a year before ending the relationship this year.

She said that right now her love life consists of herself only. She added that she was doing all the things that the singles do, especially those which she was not able to do earlier.

Hewitt shared her experiences of love and dating in her book The Day I Shot Cupid, which was released in 2010. She is said that she was working on a follow up of her book and told that it will be about loving yourself. She commented that her last book was more about how to get a man to fall in love with you but not very much about how. She said that the sequel will be about the “how’ specifically.

Hewitt who started her career as a child actor on Disney Channel’s Kids Incorporated , got her film break in the independent film Munchie in 1992. She gained popularity after playing the lead in the 1997 horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer. Hewitt, also a singer recorded the single “How Do I Deal” for the soundtrack of the sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

She had starred in the television series Ghost Whisperer since 2005. The show, after enjoying a popularity for about five years got cancelled in May 2010. After Ghost Whispers, Hewitt has reportedly shown interest in doing Broadway shows and said that she would love to sing and dance.
