Jan 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jennifer Love Hewitt is all set to direct her first film! The actress will be marking her directorial debut in films with “With Till Helen Comes” which will be a film adaptation of the novel by Mary Downing Hahn of the same name. The actress who is mostly well known for her stint in front of the camera lens, however, will not be taking behind the camera for the first time.

The 31 year old Hollywood beauty has already directed several episodes of the hit show ”The Ghost Whisperer”. The actress who herself stars in CBS’ ”The Ghost Whisperer” now has found the confidence to mark her film- directorial debut with another supernatural flick. The script is based on the 1986 novel which is surrounded around the lives of a family who move into a house in the country side which previously used to be a church. Trouble surfaces when the narrator’s step-sister is possessed by the spirit of a ghost. The spirit that the girl gets possessed by is that of a young girl who is in distress. The story narrates how the 12 year old narrator must fight all odds to save the step-sister and release the ghost’s troubled spirit.

According to sources, the movie that Jennifer Love Hewitt will be directing for the silver screen is expected to be a lengthy horror flick. It seems like the actress has developed an inclination for supernatural related things! Reports claim that the shooting for the film is supposed to start from this summer. The Hollywood actress turned director is at present busy looking for an appropriate cast for the film.
