Jan 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jennifer Lopez is receiving a lot of negative publicity for mocking Sarah Palin, the former Vice Presidential Candidate in the show “Lopez Tonight” of George Lopez. To bring in a comic touch in the comedy show telecast at 11 p.m. on TBS, she starts her monologue by calling “Lopez Tonight” a show where no one gets fired. Only one celebrity is replaced by a bigger celebrity while she appears on the stage much to the viewers surprise replacing George Lopez. She was in a mood of cracking jokes with subtle sarcasm. She made fun of NBC Conan/Leno debate and Sarah Palin.

She said she is not the only crazy person in Fox. Sarah Palin is the 5th or the 6th craziest person working there. The crowd enjoyed Jennifer Lopez’s sense of humor of making fun of herself as well as others. The controversy sprang from her use of a particular word to describe Sarah Palin. She calls Sarah Palin ‘la carbona,’ a Spanish word which means bitch.

The use of this particular term is drawing a lot of negative attention. People who do not even watch this show are aware that Jennifer Lopez used this term. The connotation of what she said minus the context sounds gross. People are widely publishing articles on internet expressing their disappointment for disrespecting the politician. As per reports, George Clooney called Jennifer Lopez, “mean, cold and nasty.” The tactlessness of Jennifer Lopez for the sake of entertainment is surely going to bring more troubles for her. Hope this star comes out of this controversy soon.
