Jennifer Lopez joins new show on Latin talent
June 3rd, 2011 - 7:29 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, June 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony are on a hunt for the next Latin talent. The show’s audition will take the couple to North, South and Central America after which the finalists will be brought into the United States for the show in Hollywood, Calif.
According to details of the new show which is expected to air in 2012, Lopez and Anthony will travel to about 21 countries to get the talents. Three languages - English, Portuguese and Spanish - will be used for the recording of the show. The couple has not announced which network will air the show next year.
Interested applicants who wish to take part in the audition will need to submit a video of their performance to the show. A YouTube channel has been created for applicants to submit their videos. Applicants can submit their videos at YouTube.com/qviva or at the Facebook page of the show.
Lopez just came out of her show on “American Idol.” She will be hoping to translate the experience and the success that she had on the show to bear on her new show.
