Jennifer Lawrence celebrates her 21st birthday
August 15th, 2011 - 10:49 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, August 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Jennifer Lawrence turned 21 on Monday. The star is famous for her role in the movie Winter’s Bone which earned her an Academy Award nomination. She played the lead character in the movie.
Lawrence received several tweets on Monday wishing her all the best on her birthday. One tweet said that, “Happy 21st to the lovely Jennifer Lawrence. 12 months ago most people didn’t know her. This year she’s one of Hollywood’s most sought after.”
The actress has been busy lately with several movies in the offing for her. She is schedule to appear in the movie Hunger Games. The movie is expected to be released next year. Her latest movie was Like Crazy which was premiered last weekend.
Lawrence is doing well in her career. By her nomination, she became the second youngest actress to have received a nomination in the Best Actress category though she failed to win the award.
In a recent interview, Elizabeth Banks who is also a cast of the Hunger Games movie said they are almost through with the shooting. She told ComingSoon.net that, “We’re almost done. We’ve got a little under a month left. It’s very exciting. We’re really making a provocative movie that’s also highly entertaining.
